If you’ve never heard of the Amouage house of mens colognes, you won’t be the only one. Coming in with some of the highest prices for colognes they aren’t found in your everyday mall outlet. The entire design behind all of their fragrances is to create a very luxurious fragrance that does more then just smell good. It almost provides a feel of royalty and money when smelled. This goes for their entire line and not just Reflection Man. Now onto the actual fragrance.
Amouage Reflection Man starts out with a combination of citrus and spice. You then get a nice dry down that is really impossible to describe. This one is so complex, and just a masterpiece. Reflection Man isn’t very dense and isn’t going to knock someone out. It draws you in and makes you want to smell it all day. You’ll find those around you to be drawn towards you to smell you more. You almost get a Middle Eastern feel from this fragrance, something that you’d find a prince wearing.
This one is just an all around great fragrance that can be worn at anytime. This is the perfect signature scent from anyone from 18-80. It wears well in almost any setting and can be worn in any season. It can be worn with a suit and tie to dinner or work, or jeans and a t-shirt and anything in-between. This one lasts a good 6-10 hours on me, which is pretty good considering it’s a niche fragrance. The downside, the price. Like I said in the beginning this is one of the priciest options you have out there. Coming in at near $300 for the 3.4oz bottle you are going to be spending money on this. Is it worth it? Really that’s up to you.
This would be an instant buy if it was $100. Being that it’s three times that price, no one should go and blind buy this based on reviews. With that said, if you can find a sample, try it. In my opinion it was worth the price, and I own a bottle. At the least give this one a try, it may earn a spot in your cologne collection.
