Armani Code Cologne Bottle

Armani Code comes in a compact sleek bottle that is all black. There are a ton of different sizes for this cologne as it is a top seller for Armani. It can be had for a wide range of $40-$100. Originally the bottle read “Black Code” and has changed to “Armani Code” over time.

Armani Code Cologne Smell

It opens with a burst of citrus, almost making you think this is going to be a warm weather fragrance. The heart then comes in and brings in a slightly sweet powder note. It has a slight white floral note mixed in with the powdery note. This has tonka bean note within it and is the focal point of the fragrance. This is a safe fragrance, but does have a slight kick to it.

Armani Code Cologne Usage

Code works best in the cooler weather and should be avoided in extreme heat. The powder note is just to much to wear in the heat and would get cloying. This is perfect for anytime in the Fall and Winter and could be used on cool Spring nights. I usually go with four sprays of this one with one to the neck, chest, and each arm. Again this cologne should be worn the most within the cooler weather and should be avoided if it is warm out. What holds this fragrance back the most is its spotty longevity and projection. At first the citrus notes do a great job with projection but quickly fade. The fragrance have lasted a wide range of times but mostly stick in the 2-5 hour range. I personally like my men’s colognes to last longer then that, and for that reason take this one down a notch.

Armani Code = Try
