The presentation of La Nuit De L’homme is very nice. Heavy high quality smoked glass, with a large high quality made cap and sprayer. This is a flanker to the already reviewed L’Homme, and is the night version. This one lasts a bit longer and projects more than the original. They took a few things from the original and then added some things to make a very nice follow-up release. The opening you get bergamot like the original along with the addition of cardamom. Once it starts to drydown to the heart notes you get a sweeter and more floral note compared to the original. Once you get through the middle notes you get to a woody base.
La Nuit de L’homme really does well with me for both projection and longevity. For projection, this isn’t an extremely loud fragrance but it will get you noticed. This is a very nice middle ground between Pure Malt and Polo Blue. Longevity was great on this one as well, with it lasting 8-10 hours a day for me. It was very consistent for me and lasted the entire day. Like I’ve said in other reviews, this is really something that’s important to me. When spending $50+ for a bottle of cologne, I want it to last. This one does that very well and definitely helps boost its rating up to 4.5.
This cologne for me really can be worn at anytime. Although it means “The night of man”, it really isn’t so dark that it can’t be worn to work or school. I however personally find myself wearing it out in the evening. I could see anyone really wearing this from high school up. I’d probably say it’d work best for the 18+ crowd though. It may be slightly to mature for those younger, you make the call. This is a sweet fragrance, so it is going to get you compliments. I think it will defiantly get noticed by almost any age group of women.

This one is good enough to buy in my opinion, and is in fact just what I did. If you’re a collector, this one is well enough made that it will stand out. It’s versatile enough that it can fit in wherever you have a weak spot. If you’re just looking to buy a bottle to add to your other one or two bottles this is also perfect for you. It can be worn in the day if needed, but also does an amazing job as an evening night out fragrance.
