Original Vetiver Bottle Design
If you are familiar with Creed then you have an idea already what the bottle is going to look like. This is another well done design by the Creed house. The bottle has a green coloring to it that fades to the top. You’ll find a black cap on the sprayer with a nice green Creed seal on top. Overall, I personally like the Creed bottles and this one is no different.
Creed’s Original Vetiver Fragrance
With the name Original Vetiver you would probably think this is going to be a musty or earthy scent. This however is not that, and goes another route then then a cologne like Tom Ford’s Gray Vetiver. This is a rather linear fragrance and stays the same throughout the drydown. It is a very clean fragrance with a fresh feel to it. This almost has a soapy clean feel, almost as if you’re not wearing cologne at all. Projection with this is pretty good, especially for a Creed fragrance. I also have found longevity to be very good for me personally. I have worn it and had it last 8+ hours, which is very good for a Creed cologne. This is not groundbreaking or anything new, but it is a well done fresh clean scent.
Original Vetiver Recommended uses
I personally recommend Original Vetiver to the 25+ and above crowd. If you’re younger then this you may still find OV appealing. However it should not be used as a date scent or used to attract females. This men’s cologne has a classy feel to it and gives you an upscale type of feeling. This is a perfect work fragrance in my opinion as it is not overpowering and projects a mature serious image. This cologne is perfect for the Spring season and going into Summer. It gives you the feel of fresh new grass, new flowers, etc.
